Returns and refunds
When cancellations, returns, and refunds may apply to your order.
Last updated: the version on this page applies to your Orders.
This Returns and Refunds Policy is part of our Terms and conditions. UK Buying Agent provides personal-shopper and forwarding services: we buy Goods from third-party Sellers at your request and arrange international shipment. Goods are not our retail inventory.
1. General rule — custom orders, no returns or refunds
Every Order is custom: we buy specific Goods for you from third-party Sellers. All sales are final. Returns and refunds are not offered except where we expressly confirm otherwise in writing on your order page (rare, at our sole discretion).
This includes, without limitation, dissatisfaction with fit, color, speed, Seller quality, authenticity disputes, Carrier delay, partial loss, customs holds, duties charged, or change of mind.
2. After you pay (first or second payment)
When you pay an invoice on your Order, we may pay Sellers and Carriers and incur costs that we cannot recover. We do not accept cancellation or refunds as a rule.
In very rare cases, if you contact us on your order page immediately after payment and before we have started processing that payment stage (for example before we place the Seller order), we may consider a partial refund at our discretion. Processing fees, bank charges, and our time may be deducted. This is not guaranteed. We usually begin work as soon as funds clear, so this window is short and most requests arrive too late.
Once we start processing your Order for that stage (including paying a Seller or booking export shipment), cancellation and refund requests are not accepted.
2a. After international shipment
We do not ship internationally until your second payment (shipping total) has cleared. Once Goods leave our warehouse on the international leg to you, returns and refunds are not offered. This is a custom personal-shopping service, not retail with a return window. Dissatisfaction with Seller quality, fit, or authenticity does not entitle you to a refund from us.
Refusing or failing to take delivery (for example you reject the parcel at the door, will not sign, do not pick it up from a depot or post office, or do not pay import charges the Carrier or customs require to release it) is your choice and your responsibility. By then we have usually already paid the international Carrier and completed export shipment. We do not refund the first payment, the second payment, or any other amounts because you refused delivery or left a parcel uncollected. We are not obliged to reship for free, store Goods indefinitely, negotiate with the Carrier on your behalf, or recover a parcel you abandoned. Any return, storage, destruction, or re-delivery fees charged by a Carrier or customs authority are yours.
3. Seller return windows & international timing
Sellers and marketplaces often allow returns for only a limited time after delivery within the Seller’s country or to our warehouse. International transit frequently exceeds those periods. By the time Goods reach you, Seller return rights have usually expired. We cannot extend Seller policies.
4. Carrier loss, damage, delay & customs
International carriage is performed by third-party Carriers. We are not liable for loss, theft, damage, delay, mishandling, non-delivery, or destruction of Goods in transit or in customs—including parcels that arrive late, arrive damaged, or never arrive. We do not refund what you paid us because of Carrier or customs problems. Risk passes to you when Goods are handed to the Carrier for export, as described in our Terms.
Carrier claims have strict deadlines and limited payouts; any recovery may be less than the amount you paid and may take months. You authorize us to assist with filing a claim when practical, but you remain responsible for meeting Carrier rules unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing on your order page.
Goodwill only (Carriers): We are not required to help with Carrier issues. As a courtesy, we may contact the Carrier on your behalf to ask whether they can offer a remedy or compensation. We do not guarantee any response, outcome, amount, or timeline. Any amount the Carrier pays may be passed to you net of our fees and costs, using a method we choose.
5. Goodwill Seller liaison (not a refund promise)
We are not required to negotiate with Sellers. As a courtesy, we may ask a Seller about a remedy (for example a partial credit or return where their policy allows). We do not guarantee any response, outcome, or timeline. Any amount recovered from a Seller may be credited to you net of our fees, bank charges, and costs, using a method we choose.
6. Rare Seller-approved returns — your costs upfront
If a Seller agrees to accept a return, you must pay in advance all costs we specify, including return shipping, import/export duties, brokerage, repackaging, storage, inspection, and payment fees. We will not release or return Goods until paid and until Seller conditions are met. Seller refunds may be partial or in store credit.
7. Chargebacks & payment disputes
Initiating a card chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first on your order page may be treated as a breach of Terms. We may submit Order records, communications, and delivery evidence to your bank. You remain liable for Goods and fees if a dispute is decided against you.
8. Our procurement errors
If we verifiably ordered the wrong item due to our mistake (not due to your link or instructions), notify us promptly on the Order. We will discuss a commercially reasonable fix (for example reorder or partial credit) at our discretion and subject to these Terms; this section does not create a general right of refund.
